![]() ![]() ![]() The library has 6 group study rooms, group and silent study areas, desktop computers, a laptop computer loan program, photocopiers, printing stations and a book scanner. The SWPHL Faculty provide drop-in and by-appointment reference services, research consultations, classroom and individual instruction. These reciprocal agreements allow the patrons of SWPHL extensive access to a multitude of collections. In addition, SWPHL participates in the national interlibrary loan program for academic libraries. The collection principles described here apply to all of the libraries, although specific exceptions may be noted. SWPHL is a pick-up/drop-off site for the CUNY intra-library loan system that facilitates the sharing of books between all 21 of the CUNY libraries. The Hunter College Libraries include three branch libraries (The Social Work & Urban Public Health Library, School of Health Professions Library and Zabar Art Library) in addition to the main (Cooperman) library. The enrolled student population at CUNY Hunter College is 28.6 Hispanic or Latino, 28.5 White, 24.4 Asian, 11 Black or African American, 2.91 Two or More Races, 0.179 American Indian or Alaska Native, and 0.15 Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific. Silberman student also have remote access to the Hunter Libraries electronic collections which include 250,000 full-text eBooks, 100,000 eJournals, and over 300 electronic databases.
